Jim Morgan in 1991 created Stadium Bookstore Inc., which quickly became an institution for the nearby Marshall University campus and the extended Huntington community family of Thundering Herd fans.

Prior to that, Jim already had more than 30 years of business experience in Huntington, having joined the family office products business in 1959. Elected president of Morgan's Inc. in 1969, he guided all operations of that company and, in 1980, led the firm through expansion and the purchase Stationer's Inc., which sold office products, gifts and college textbooks.
